Where it all began

My health journey started when I was diagnosed with diabetes at 22 years old, it was a moment I’ll never forget. Inspired by this, I launched RESPIN through my own health transformation and desire to connect with others through health, wellness, and spirituality. At this moment, the need to rē•think everything we thought we knew is more important now than ever. So today, I am sharing RESPIN with you…and invite you to join our community.

2001

Our journey began with the launch of hallewood: a first-of-its-kind digital platform that connected Halle directly to fans.

 

2016

Revival

Halle and her best friend Lindsay were inspired to bring hallewood back to life. With their 20+ years of experience, they organically came up with the idea of creating a curated digital fashion magazine.

 

2017

Fitness Friday

After an enlightened trip to India, Halle evolved hallewood based on a new ideology centered on health, wellness, and spirituality. And with a new leadership team of all women, hallewood launched a weekly fitness series called #FitnessFriday

 

2018

Re-spin 1.0

With the quick traction of #FitnessFridays, Halle and her business partner Kendra had a vision for a brand much bigger than hallewood. And thus, rē•spin would launch as an accessible and resourceful destination for conversation, connection, and discovery.

 

2019

Re-spin: brand expansion

The rē•spin journey developed through Halle’s organic connectivity to health, wellness, and spirituality that was further actualized through the brand’s pillars: Connect, Nourish, Strengthen, Awaken, Give, and Eternal.

 

2020

Content & Commerce

In the midst of a global pandemic, there was an outcry from Halle’s fans to connect on a deeper level. In April 2020, rē•spin launched as a digital content & commerce platform.
